Come June 2012, STRONG!, a feature length documentary that I have been shooting with director Julie Wyman for the past 5 years, will air as a part of PBS’ series Independent Lens. “THE LIGHT IN HER EYES” Kickstarter campaign

Filmmakers Julia Meltzer and Laura Nix officially opened their Kickstarter campaign to raise money to finish their film, THE LIGHT IN HER EYES. The film is about a conservative Muslim preacher in Damascas, Syria who’s offering another way for women to live according to Islam, one that encourages education, jobs and public lives. It’s an amazing and timely story definitely worth supporting! Check out their Kickstarter video.
